Hall Spars & Rigging

Hall Spars & Rigging operates two complete carbon manufacturing facilities. Company headquarters is located in Bristol, R.I., and their European facility is located in Breskens, Holland. Both companies operate under the name Hall Spars & Rigging.

Hall Spars & Rigging manufactures high-performance carbon-fiber spars for custom and production boats. In addition, each facility manufactures aluminum masts for production boats. Hall Spars & Rigging assembles standing and running rigging packages for their mast projects as well as for a wide range of customers worldwide. The rigging shops have complete rod heading and cable swaging capabilities, as well as the ability to retrofit using composite fibers.

Hall Spars lead the industry in autoclave-cured carbon fiber spar production. Hall carbon spars are built for production yachts, including models by Wally, Swan, J/Boats, Sabre, Farr, Hinckley, Morris, Grand Soleil, Max Fun, and Beneteau.

Hall builds custom carbon spars for boats over 35 feet, from Grand-Prix racers to America's Cup and high-performance cruising yachts and super yachts. All engineering is completed in-house. Hall engineers use dynamic finite element analysis (FEA) in combination with solid modeling to analyze rig loads and create the lightest, strongest rigs possible. There is a complete team of engineers on site in both the U.S. and Holland.
